More on RSS

I have now managed to go public and my URL is:

I am enjoying using Bloglines and particularly like the Financial Times book reviews, which are quick and easy to skim to see if they are of interest. Similarly, getting news feeds in the form of headlines is so time-saving as you're not so tempted to read articles of minimal interest.
Setting it up was quite easy - once a colleague had shown me how! I had a look at Technorati and Topix, but preferred to choose my own feeds.
We are so snowed under with information these days and RSS feeds are a brilliant way to manage your own information needs. This is something that I will definitely use in my personal life, and also as a way of keeping up to date with the book scene for work.
